Remember now that the Third Dimension has laws applicable only to it. The Bigger Picture is showing itself for all to experience. Little by little, individuals in diverse areas of knowledge and expertise are expanding into higher perspectives. We can see the sprouts coming in…potentials becoming real possibilities and then manifesting here on earth as new wisdom, new solutions to old issues, and a greater understanding of what is happening and what is possible. Here are a few that I have noted:
Expanding Science:
– Nuclear fusion is the process by which nuclear energy is used to generate electricity and looks set to support the future of clean, net zero energy systems globally. While fission is used in nuclear power reactors since it can be controlled, fusion is not yet utilized to produce power. Some scientists believe there are opportunities to do so. Fusion offers an appealing opportunity, since fusion creates less radioactive material than fission and has a nearly unlimited fuel supply.
– CRISPR offers the possibility, through gene editing, to disrupt and correct disease-related genes. In utero gene editing, or prenatal somatic cell genome editing, envisions treating a fetus diagnosed with a genetic disease before birth.
– AI, or Artificial Intelligence, is basically the science of making machines (computers) that can think like humans. AI-powered ‘assistants’ respond to voice commands, perform internet searches, manage schedules, control smart home devices, and even make jokes to lighten the mood.
Expanding Psychology:
– Transpersonal Psychology focuses on exploring human experiences that go beyond the individual’s ego or sense of self. It studies spiritual, mystical, and transcendent aspects of human life, aiming to understand the deeper meaning and purpose behind these experiences. Transpersonal psychotherapy may include techniques or practices such as meditation, dream work, guided imagery, prayer, holotropic breathwork (rebirthing), hypnosis, and journaling.
– Energy Psychology is a newer blend of Western understandings of the human psyche and its treatment with the wisdom of Eastern approaches. It focuses on the relationship between bioenergy systems (such as meridians and chakras), neuro and electro physiological processes, and mental functions involving thoughts, emotions, sensations, and behaviour. Tapping (EFT), acupressure and acupuncture, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) are examples of energy therapies.
– Dr. Joseph Dispenza talks about reprogramming the human mind and body. Thoughts (brain) give you your identity even as the emotions (body) have a magnetic charge that holds all the thoughts and behaviour patterns together. When released, low frequency emotions in your body, such as fear, anger, anxiety, depression, and hopelessness, give way to higher perspectives and experiences of love, compassion, joy. You can begin to envision and reprogram your thinking about yourself.
These therapies expand into new areas and possibilities of healing from trauma, even though mainstream psychology has not yet fully embraced them. It is difficult to replicate the treatments, relying more on measuring outcomes of the various treatment modalities to determine their validity. This includes what people experience as a result of the treatment.
The same can be said of Consciousness itself. What does it mean to be conscious? People have been thinking and writing about this question for millennia. Yet many things about the conscious mind remain a mystery, including how to measure and assess it. If this sounds familiar, I suggest these are similar questions asked when one considers or tries to define the Divine, whether called God, Allah, Yahweh, Source or Prime Consciousness.
Expanding Religion/Spirituality:
– Richard Rohr, in “A Maturing Spirituality“, offers a Christian perspective on spiritual development, including a shift of operating systems: “We experience the permanent waning of the false self and the ascent of the True Self as the center of our being.” As Rohr suggests, reprogramming your human mind allows your Soul to come forward as a new identity, a new reality. For me, this is akin to the Christian teachings of being born again, finding a new life in Christ (Consciousness).
– The inclusion and affirmation of all persons, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity, has been a long time coming. Its sprouts are showing up more and more in different religious and spiritual groups. This movement, along with perspectives on abortion, immigration and other contentious topics, has led to making obvious the schisms still present in faith traditions. This mirrors the way in which we see the world today becoming more and more divided.
I had the privilege of exploring and found joy in new experiences with religious/spiritual organizations.
– The Inter-Religious Studies Program at the Vancouver School of Theology was an amazing blend of information and experience. I learned about different faith traditions and the Indigenous culture even as there were opportunities to experience the differences. I visited various places of worship and received personal perspectives from leaders of other belief systems. For me, it is the experience that reaches my heart, touches my Soul. As part of the curriculum for many of the classes, I was asked to reflect on and write about my experiences…a perfect way to cultivate a deeper awareness of differences and my reaction to them.
– At VST I learned of a new spiritual group coming together, the Living Interfaith Sanctuary in Vancouver. I began meeting with this budding interfaith fellowship. After graduation in 2019, I served as Interfaith Counsellor with LIS. The biweekly speakers from a great variety of faith traditions and the opportunity to interact with them continued to deepen my understanding and experience of those who were different. It was apparent that all came from the same desire to hear, be heard, and loved no matter what.
And yet again, I grew restless, exploring still different beliefs and understandings, feeling that there was something More, still something missing yet to be acknowledged. In late 2020 it was time for me to let go and follow my own path again.
The More…Expanding Love:
I must admit to having some anxiety as I first heard about and then loosely followed the advent of some of these ‘sprouts’. Yes, change is always difficult, yet I could also see and feel the potential for misuse. Genetic manipulation could lead to eugenics, hypnosis could lead to control of another person, or a different interpretation of a religious/spiritual belief could lead to an abusive cult. It is important to remember that these relatively new tools and perspectives are neither inherently good nor bad. They can be used for both beneficial and harmful purposes, depending on how they are developed and used.
You see, every individual who has created something new, who had a new thought, has reached for More…they opened to the divine. Whether they realized it or not, this is, and always has been, the divine at work. And then the ‘new’ is brought into 3D and that level of consciousness has its way with it. Being fear-based, it allows anyone to use the ‘new’ for their own purposes, to twist and manipulate, bring harm, to create more pain and suffering for their own benefit.
We already know that we can no longer fix what is broken here with our current level of consciousness – we’ve tried, and tried, and tried. This is where each of us comes in…we can choose to shift into a higher consciousness based in love. I kept hearing the hymn ‘Love Lifted Me’ this morning: ‘Love lifted me, love lifted me, when nothing else would help, Love Lifted Me”. Oh, so true!
We can expand into divine love and wipe away the fear of the new, the unknown, and the seemingly unknowable! It can dissolve old fear-based patterns of thought and behaviour that corrupt new sprouts. We can become aware of and release the old fear-based emotions in ourselves and choose to live in higher levels of consciousness, of love.
It’s about each of us breathing in the divine through our Soul and Higher Self, radiating that love to those around us, gradually creating heaven here from within.
From my heart to yours,
Eloecea

My dear Sissy, this past Christmas I bought myself a chronological Bible. Presently I’m still in the Old testament, yet I read the New testament also. I wonder for you, when it was that you began to reject the Lord Jesus Christ, God the Father and the Holy Spirit, as your Only Source of life, Hope, wisdom, etc,… Yes your Only Source… As I’m reading and studying the Old testament I am stunned by the passionate pleadings from the LORD, Yahweh, to return to Him. These pleadings with clear warnings that follow are so seemingly endless! You and I think so incredibly differently, and we experience many things differently. I guess I simply pray that one day all of our eyes will be opened, our ears open and our hearts receptive to the magnificent ONE TRUE God of the Bible, the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and the Holy Spirit as mentor, nurturer, counselor and so much more!

Kari, my dear little sister – Thank you for reading my thoughts here and leaving your own. I know your journey has had its ups and downs and that you have found a place to rest in the Christian tradition…and I am grateful for this place of love and joy for you. It’s not so much that I rejected the presence of love in the Christian tradition…I just knew in all my being that there was More to discover and experience about the divine.
And, yes, we have our differences in what we know as truth and the path to that truth. Our paths have different language, understanding, and realities. Yet as long as we open to and become that divine love within us, we’re travelling in the same direction, with the same intention! I agree that one day our eyes and minds will be opened and we will know the divine plan for all humanity, available through all the different paths to divine love. I love you, Kari, and honour and respect your choices even as I have made different ones.
